Title: what is it to be a priest?

1 peter 2:9

Priest in the Old Testament is the only one that can have encounter with God.

Lens (experiences)- sometime it restrict us from see the whole picture

New Testament: Jesus says that every one is a priest, making the priest to be same as others

Jesus said that you are the priest, the light unto the world

Laity- part time people
Clergy - full time people (to have us read and explain the bible)

Every one is same! There is nothing special with the pastors. The way power of them praying and you praying is the same

Every one is a minister, but are we living as a minister? Speaking about it is one thing, and living it is another?

1. Every Christian is a minister
We need to first know what is God's heartbeat
If you want to know what Jesus care, we need to follow and study him
James 1:27- religion (true worship of God)
God want to help helpless so do what
But, who are those that are helpless? Like people that cut themselves
2. Every task is important
Every gifts is equally important
Every task and is very important to make a thing word
1 peter 4:10-Everyone of you have a own and unique gift and we need to manage it well
3. Every person is unique!
You are not one in a million but You are one of kind
1 cor 12:4-7
4. Every one is a 10 in some area
psalm139:13-16
You are uniquely made to score the perfect 10

We need to fan our spiritual gift in to flame

A spiritual gift is a special supernatural ability that God give to each of his children, so that together they can advance his purpose in this world

1 .my gifts show God's plan for my life
Eph 2:10
Design revels destiny
God will use the things that you like to do to serve him and his people
2. My gift is the key to happiness
Times magazine: people of faith that believe in Jesus Christ who are living beyond themselves are the most happiness people
Will give your life to God and be the most happiness man
3. My gifts can make a different
