Title: connected to the vine

• Cow that are normal are boring, a remarkable purple is interesting and special
  
• God want us to be special
  
• 1 peter 2:4-9
  
• We are peculiar people, not normal but unique
  
• Stand out from the norm and be outstanding
  
• The things that make you unique, yet you tried to copy
  
• Mediocrity is mass produced ,destiny is custom designed
  
• What makes you unique is what that makes you powerful
  
• God wants you to be who you really are
  
• God can use every one, including those that is quiet
  

How to be purple and special?

• Is to stay connected with one that created you
  
• To know who we really are, is to find it out from God
  

John 15:1-8

• The vine is Jesus and Jesus alone, he is the true vine
  
• We cannot allow things in ourselves to the fake vine that takes over Jesus' place
  
• Eternity is not some cheap things you can sell it for other things.
  
• Don't attach us to the fake vine( person, material etc )
  

three kind of righteous

1. Bear no fruit

• Verse 2,6
  
• God is the gardener with green fingers that take care the vine carefully
  

A) He place us in relationship with others

B) He instructs us with his word

C) God renews our mind

• Hebrews 3:12
  
• Christian can go to hell if they chose to cut themselves from God
  
• If our focus is just to feed into world, we will not be unique
  
• Without Jesus in our life and the things we do will amount to nothing
  

2. Bear some fruit

• If we are connected to god and we produce fruit, it is a good fruit
  
• Self restrict the production of fruit
  
• When we beside self reliance , we will tend to fall in to sin
  
• Pruning is not easy and painful but productive
