Moses is a character that God used to free Israel from 400 years of slavery in Egypt
Why Moses? because he made good choices in his life
Our character is based on the choices we make in our daily lives.
4 Questions that we need to ask ourselves if we want to be used by God
1.The Identity question(Who am I?)
- We need to be able to choose the truth from the lie
God made me to be me! and only me can fulfill my own destiny
To be used by God, we need to recognize who we are(Job 10:5, Ephe2:10)
2. Responsibility Question(What will i do with my life?)
Moses chose his path(Heb 11:25)
Your future is determined by your choices
God WILL EXPLODE in your life if u make the right choices
We must make the choice to choose God it not we will break the circuit
- Every Christian must realise they cannot live on other's spiritual commitment
- We cannot blame others for the direction that we choose to take
- Though we cannot control the situation around us or the way the things happen to us but we can control our response to these situations!
You are as spiritual as you want to be
Are you making to effort to know God more?
The people of Israel know the acts of God(God's miracle), but Moses knew the ways of God(God's purpose)
3. Priority Question(what is really important?)
- If we cannot decide our own values, other people will help us decide and force it down our 'throat'
3 types of temptation that Satan Uses
- Lust of flesh
- Lust of world
- Pride of life
- Values of the world.
- Power, Prestige, Popularity
- Pleasure
- Possession
The fear of rejecting the world's values will cause us to not be able to fulfill our destiny
4. The commitment question(How much am I willing to commit?)
- We need to keep God and His will before us
Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal.
Invest in the eternal not the temporal
