i am here to share a story.i find it extremely interesting. Please be spend some time in reading this.
Once upon a time, there was three trees on a hill top stand strong and firm. one day they were discussing about the future on what the want to be when that are fully grown up.
the first tree said that he want to be crafted out to form a chest, a treasure chest where crystals, gold and precious stones will be stored.
the second tree said that he want to a be crafted out to be a mighty ship that will up hold the kings and queen
the third tree said that he want to be a strong tree that is standing up high on the hill top that people can be able to see him from great distances and they will be able to look up at my branches and think of the heavens and God.
after many years of growing and praying that their dreams will come true, a group of woodmen approached.
one of the woodsmen came up to the first tree and said ' this looks like a good quality tree, i think i should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter"..... and he began to cut the tree down. the tree was very happy because he knew within his heart that the carpenter that was spoken of, would make him in to a treasure chest, just as he had always dreamt
.
another woodsmen walked up to the second tree and said: this looks mighty, strong tree, i should be able to sell the woods to the artisans in the shipyard". the second tree was also very happy, because he knew that he was about to fulfill his dreams and become a mighty ship
as a woodsmen approached the third tree, the tree began to shake and was frightened, because he knew that if they cut him down, his hopes and dreams would not come true. the woodsmen said" i do not need anything special from my tree, so i will just take this one" and the third tree was cut down
at the carpenters, the first tree was made in to a feed box for animals. He was then located in a small barn and filled with hay. this was nothing like what he had hoped and prayed.
the artisan within the shipyard worked upon, the second tree, and he was cut up and ,made to a small fishing boat. his hopes and dreams of becoming a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end
the third tree was worked upon, he was cut and hewn in to large pieces and left alone in the dark of the large timbers storehouse. as the years went by the trees forgot about their earlier hopes and dreams
one day........... a man and woman came to the darn. the woman gave birth to a child and they placed the Barn in the hay in the feed box that had been made from the first tree. the man wished that he could have made a proper crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. the first tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time
many years later , a group of men, got in the fishing boat that had been made from the second tree. one of the men was tired and went to sleep. while they were out on the water, a great storm rose up and the tree started to question it self, as to whether ti was strong enough to keep the man safe. the men awoke the sleeping man, who stood up and said"peace" and the storm stopped. it was then that the tree knew that it had carried the King of kings in its small fishing boat
the third tree was still dark of the timber storehouse, when one day someone came and got it. it was carried through streets filled with many people who mocked and spat upon the Man who was carrying it. when they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in to the air to die atop mighty hill. when Sunday came, the tree began to realise that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be close to God as was ever possible, because Jesus had been crucified upon it
when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has plan for you. if you place your trust in Him, you will achieve. each of the tree got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. we don't always kn0w what God had plan for us.
