What is Light?
Definition: something which makes it possible to see(without it its impossible to see...duh)

God's nature is deposited in every one of us
Christian's light, should not be kept to one's self, but to shine in every corner of our lives

4 things about light

1. There is a call to answer...
We are called to shine the light, the light we shine is an indirect light, like the moon, reflected from God.

When we really live a Holy life, it will be seen by others...
Light exposes hidden things that we cannot see in the dark

If we want to be a light, we should not complain(any1 seen a light bulb complaining?)
When we complain, we would not be able to do anything.

Do you change other people? or do other people change you?


2. There is a testimony to be shared
The smallest light is able to expose something that is hidden.
no matter how dim or small your light may be, let it shine!
Light is visible and have revealing influence
We cannot lose who we are, but we can always hide what we are
we can waste what we are

3. There is a choice to be made.
Light points to others, never to self, and it declares silently

6 kinds of lights
Christmas 'lights' ---Christians only by name, goes church only on christmas? lols
Flashing 'lights' ---On/off Christians
Flash'lights' ---short span Christians
Candle 'light' --- affected by wind, example what other people do or say
Dirty 'light' --- more dirt, less light
Spot 'light' --- only do a single thing

Things that we may hide our lights under
-Basket of worldliness(self-explanatory)
-Basket of fear
-Basket of Apathy
-Basket of silence
-Basket of inconsistency

last but not least
4. there is a purpose to be considered.
Jesus make our lives in such a fashion that we are to make sure that no one goes home without the light
