Title: Anger!

Uncontrolled anger can hurt people, others and self
Anger doesn't consider the future and our safety

5 steps we can take to deal with our anger!

Anger is a normal emotion that is created for Good. Anger alone is not necessary a sin, because God gets angry as well(John 2:14-15)
When we get angry, we should know the object of anger, the thing that we are angry at, not all type of anger is wrong.
Human anger tends to be self-motivated rather than God-motivated.
Anger is a offensive weapon which we use to defend our pride, like a fire, when controlled, it will serve us, but uncontrolled fire will only kill us and the people around us.

2 ways of expressing anger: Explode/implode

1. In your anger do not sin
This is referenced from Eph 4:26, it clearly states that when we are angry we can still prevent ourselves from sinning.

2. Anger must be resolved. When we rest with our anger, we would wake up even more angry because the anger has already settled in our hearts.
When we get angry, the anger in us will take control
Unresolved anger will blind us of what is good and what is right, isolates us from other people, and will cause us to be unGodly

3. Anger opens doorcas to the devil(Eph 4:28)
Genesis 4:6-7
Managing our anger, when anger gets a hold you are prone to doing things that u will forget later.
a few ways to prevent you from sinning unconciously, think about results of your anger, reflect before you react and restrain from making crude remarks.
Pro 21:23

4. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth
Harmful words that we tell/say to other may be in the form of sms or email too

5. Do not grieve the Holy spirit of God

Ways to be good and angry!
1) Self examine
-How i express my anger?
-what kind of person does God wants me to be?
2) Stop and think
-Why am i Angry?
-Is the matter worth getting angry about?
- What do i really want to see from the outcome of this situation?
3) Replace anger
-Replace anger with forgiveness(forgiveness is not forgetting)

Getting angry is a choice that we make, look to the Holy spirit and confess to God.

We know we need to forgive others, because Jesus has already forgave us
Forgiveness is also deciding to live with the consequence of another person's sin

Enjoy! takkares, Bible verses n colours will be up by tonight!
