Everyone of us is a tree...

our roots actually represents how deep we are in God, our relationship with Him...

When our roots is at the surface, it means our relationship with God is on the surface...

But if our roots are able to do deep down into the soil, to the ultimate end, where the abundant stream is...

the tree is able to grow strong, without worrying of anything, about the storms, about drought...

In another words, it means if our relationship with God is deepen, we will have anything that drawn us away from God..

Roots will generally grow in any direction where the correct environment of air, mineral nutrients and water exists to meet the plant's needs. Roots will not grow in dry soil.

In our life, do we really function like what a roots function, knowing where the correct environment is or do we just anyhow take in water, minerals from external source without knowing if it is good for us.

Something to think about...
