Title: we are designed to worship

Fact 1: Everyone worships something
->you either worship the creator or the created
->worship is about value, therefore worship is our response to what we value the most
->you truely worship what you love the most

everyone has a throne/altar in their life

How to know what you worship?
->you spend most of your energy on that thing
->you spend alot of time on it
->you spend alot of money on it
->things that you do

Action speaks louder than words

Fact 2: It is more about what we do than what we say

Worship happens everywhere everytime, it happens 24/7

One of the purest worship is not found in the church

when we worship we shld put our heart and soul into it

God has given us the capacity to worship and adore

Fact 3: We are made to worship God
Colo 1:15-17
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

everything was created by God and for God

we have a 'homing device' tat draws us to our creator(God)

God gave us a choice whether to worship Him or worship other things

3 things why worship is important
1. we are and always will be a worshipper
we gt to make sure what matters most matters most to us
->exalt the right person, dont waste ur worship on little Gods made by man

2. everyday is a battle for worship
worship matters so much that satan wans to steal it from God
luke 8:18
Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him

worship is a daily choice

how does satan advance his rebellion?
Romans 1:25
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Stan deceive those who let him, leading dem to empty wells n false Gods

God is nt restricted to a building
many of us live a life devoid of God

satan wans to steal us from God
God wans our affection for Him as it can only be given from our heart

3 temptations that Jesus had in the wilderness while He was fasting n praying
-> turning stone into bread
->leap off the temple
->bow b4 satan in exchange for everything on earth

your worship matters to God

3. you will become wad you worship
wadeva u worship you become obsessed with
wadeva u become obsessed with you imitate
wadeva you imitate you become
