> the race in our life is marathon
>which in it ENDURANCE is critical.

race means struggle. [life is a struggle]
the reward is the crown of righteousness.

Hebrews 12:1-3
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fixed our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God, Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

we would need to finish this race.
but how do we get this endurance.?

it's not how long you've been sitting in church.
it's how much you've been dying to yourself.

3 keys.
1. look back
> no, not look at your failures.
>look at the past heroes who have completed the race.
> they dint have a easy job. they also struggled.
BUT THEY FOUGHT THIS GOOD FIGHT AND FINISH THE RACE VICTORIOUSLY.


Hebrews 11:7 Noah waited for 120 years. but He just went by faith. He did not give up.
> we need to keep pushing on.
> it may seem a long wait, but God always comes on time.!
>be patient and listen.
Hebrews 11:8 Abraham did the impossible. He pass every test that God gave Him. You need to pass the test and move on. BE PROMOTED.!
Don't be discouraged and be true to God's will.
Hebrews 11:22 Joseph spend his youth in prison but no matter what circumstances He faces, He tells God, He'll only look to God alone.!
>it's only when times are bad, this determines whether if you have real faith
>when suffering comes, you need to take it in your stride.
>God is with you always and He is much much BIGGER than your problems.
>you can move your mountains of trouble with your faith.


2.look out.!
>watch out for obstacles and issues in your life that hinders your path
>we run this race with sin clinging on to us
>just one tiny bit of sin, IT BECOMES BIGGER AND BIGGER.
>you need to throw it away in order for you to run this race.

there are 2 critical times.
`1.The beginning
`2.The halfway mark
you have to run on the way.
you cannot have doubts on whether if you're gonna fnish it.
it's not how you start, it's how you finish the race.

3.look forward
>to Jesus [the finisher of our race]
>we're running a race in which we dont know when it ends.
>we cannot see the finishing line.
>you would feel like giving up all the time.
>it's only when you look to Jesus, then you would have the endurance and strength to PUSH through.
>you look at Jesus by digging deep.
>you dig deep by building your lives with gold, silver and precious jewels.
>to do that, you need to study the bible.!


everything boils back down to your quiet time.
are there any changes in your life.?
are you starting to eat the meat of the bible.?
we need to fixed our eyes on Jesus and push on.!
