here i am to update on the sermon
SNL 12August
Speaker: Ps Daniel
Title: Will of God
1-God have a specific will for everyone
-->God's will may want you not to do some things
-->When God wants us to do something, He would tell us clearly
2-God's cooperate will/God's will for groups
-->will have a deep satisfaction within the group
If we don't serve, we won't find out whats our best which we can serve God with
3-God's true will.
-->it is for us to be like His Son(Jesus Christ)
-->Have the character of Jesus(Philippians 2:5)
God is far more interested in what you ARE IN LIFE compared to what you do
God wants to make us more like Jesus (2 corinthians 3:18)
God uses temptations to make us like Him
2 corinthians 4:17
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
Every problem in life have a purpose
Fruits of the spirit : But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
The way God produces fruit of the spirit in your life is by putting you in the exact opposite situation and allow you to be tempted to do the opposite!
