Sermon: Remaining in God's word

b4 we start anything heres some quotes frm Pastor daniel tat nite:

When we give, we break to the bond of materialism in our lives.
If we wanna be like Jesus, we need to communicate wif Him!
hw to communicate? do ur quiet time DAILY

wells here i start on the sermon notes...
remaining in God's word...
How?
-memorise the verses!

Why?
-its for our nourishment and growth(1peter2:1)
->its essential for ALL Christians (Matt 4:4)
->desire for the word of God (Hebrews 5:14)
->make decisions through the word (psalm 119:130)

When we read the bible, God can speak to us through it (psalm 1:1)

If we lack wisdom and understanding from God we can't for things for Him

Needs and problems in our lives lets us realise tat we need God

God helps us through the word as The word gives guidance

We need to use the world of God to work wif God to see our prayer's answered(Hebrews11:3)

God's word can create, if we are created by Him our words can also create, if we curse someone n it came to pass, how powerful would it be if we bless someone n it comes to pass?

The Word of God:
when we fight a battle we need weapons, so when we fight against spiritual enemies our weapon is the Word of God (Ephesians6:17)

Everyone lacks faith but we can find it though the Word of God (Romans 10:17)

and READ OUT LOUD when you do ur quiet time!

-live in the word
God wants to transform us
the word has the power to transform (james 1:23)
God's word tells us our problems in our heart (mirror)

the word of God can Cleanse us! (judges 3:12,15,16,17,21)
