yesterday's sermon. =]

life has many choices.
look at the word OBEDIENCE
there is a word die.
WHYY.? because to obey, you need to die to yourself.
Galatians 2:20

how then can we make the right choices.?
1. live by the word and not by the world
-do not allow the world to set standards for you
Hebrews 4:12
-you need to understand that the word is living

when your life is down, all you strength is gone and when you give up fighting and when you have no more hope, you have to LIVE BY THE WORD.

1 Timothy 4:10
put your hope in the living God.
-the word is active, dont leave it out
James 1:21-22
-the word can penetrate into you.
[just like the sun uv rays]
Isaiah 55:11

2.are you living your life out of conviction or convenience.?
-you must be convince that Jesus is more important than anything else
-conviction goes beyond beliefs
you need to hang on to your conviction.!
Christianity is not a convenient religion.
being a convicted christian means you will face prosecution but at the same time, remember God will honour you. =]

3.when we make sinful mistakes, we need to learn from the mistakes and recover.
-stop being a loser and stay in your comfort zone
-pick up your pieces and move on
Isaiah 40:30-31
exchange God's strength with your own strength.


we do make mistakes. all of us. we need to learn and move on.
trust in God.
