hi everyone!

now about saturday's sermon. =]

humans are created vulnerable and sensitive!
the bible say that we are sheeps.
Psalm 100:3
Isaiah 53:6
Jeremiah 50:6
Matthew 9:36
John 10:27
but why are we like sheeps.?
because sheeps are
1. virtually defenceless [ they need the shepherd to protect them!]
2. not resourceful
3. absolutely dependant on the shepherd!
4. incline to follow each other [if one jumps off the cliff, another will follow]
5. tendency to move as an unthinking herd. [we just follow the crowd]

now. all of us are like sheeps, following a CONFIDENT goat doing things that even though we know its not right, we still do it.
WHY.?
it is because, the pressure to conform to follow the leader is greater than the need for sercurity.

all of us need love, belonging and acceptance!
however humans have often tried many ways to fill up this need.
but all the ways that they use are wrong.

but why did God create this need in us.?
it's because He wants us to have
-fellowship
-community

but the devil changes this needs causing us to lose our confidence!

but there's still hope!
the almighty God!
this is the crisis of confidence!
confidence can make you, it can also break you.
confidence in God makes you stable.!
but how do we develop this confidence.?
1.believe in Jesus
-entrust your lives to Him!
-remember, God will never reject you
-it is never difficult to please God
-but you must know, no matter what you do, you can never make God love you more because He has already given you PERFECT love.!
Galatians 3:13-14
God thinks you are great just the way you are!


2. stop wallowing in bitterness and hatred
John 8:44
-there will always be a voice that says you are lousy, a loser and bring you down!
but that's the father of lies saying it. don't believe.
-the father of lies like to create an internal war in you to rip you apart.!
-dont partner with the devil to destroy yourself!
always remember, no one can make a fool our of you except YOURSELF.
-forget your past.
-most of us had a bad past but you need to forget it. if not how are you gonna live in the present and walk with God towards the future.?
-you need to let go and let GOD!

*you cannot clutch all your past, your bitterness and your hatred in one hand and shout God help me.! but you're holding it so tightly. God have ask you to let go but you still say no but you still want God to help you!
how can God help you when you dont wanna let go and let Him do the job.?

3. Partner with Jesus
-true confidence starts in Him and ends in Him!
-Jesus is our senior partner we are the junior!
- in His eyes, our inadequacies are always irrelavant but our talents will become amazing bcos of Him.

remember, Phillipians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
